Galvanized pipes are divided into hot-dip and cold-dip, the former being the reaction of molten metal with an iron matrix to produce an alloy layer, so that the matrix and the coating are bonded together. Hot dip galvanizing is first pickling the steel pipe, in order to remove the iron oxide on the surface of the steel pipe, after pickling, through ammonium chloride or zinc chloride aqueous solution or ammonium chloride and zinc chloride mixed aqueous solution tank for cleaning, and then into the hot dip plating tank. Cold galvanized pipes are electrically galvanized with a very small amount of galvanization, only 10 - 50 g / m2, and their own corrosion resistance is much different from that of hot galvanized pipes.
