Hot Dipped Galvanized Steel Sheet in Coil (GI) is produced by passing the Full Hard sheet which has undergone the acid washing process and rolling process through the zinc pot, thereby applying zinc film to the surface. It has excellent corrosion resistance, paintability, and workability due to Zinc's characteristics. Usually, hot-dipped galvanized steel sheet and galvanized steel coil process and specifications are basically the same.
Hot dip galvanizing is the process of applying a protective zinc coating to steel or iron sheets to prevent rust. Due to the excellent corrosion resistance, coating and processability of zinc, the amount of zinc gold-plating required can be selected and produced, in particular, thick zinc layers (up to 120g/m2) can be achieved.
Due to the different treatment methods in the plating process, the surface state of the galvanized plate is also different, such as ordinary zinc flowers, fine zinc flowers, flat zinc flowers, zinc flowers and phosphating surface. Galvanized sheet should have a good appearance, no defects harmful to the use of the product, such as no plating, holes, cracks and scum, more than thick plating, abrasion, chromic acid dirt, white rust, etc.
